Our Director
Ugonna Uzor Kalu is happily married with three children and is the wife of Hon. Nnanna Uzor Kalu. She hails from Umuahia in Abia State and was married in Igbere Bende L.G.A., Abia State.
She is a Lawyer, IT Consultant and also a Linguist by profession with certificates on exercising leadership, organisational management, child care development, Oracle database administration, guidance and counseling, web development, theology, etc. in schools locally and abroad.
Ugonna owns a private school, Dikrisa International School at Gudu Abuja, and is also the Managing Director of Eagle Newest Technologies Ltd, an indigenous software development company based in Nigeria. This is in addition to the fact that she is the Chief Executive Officer of Ugonna Nnanna Uzor Kalu Law Firm.
Ugonna has an education mobile app on the Playstore called “Studyhub20″ for children, adolescents, adults, and corporate learning. Studyhub20 is also into skill acquisition, ICT training, and distance learning programs.
While serving as a board member representing the Southeast region in the National Boundary Commission under the Presidency, Ugonna is also a member of the Internal Boundaries in the National Boundary Commission Nigeria.
Her secondary school was Mary Magdalene Anglican Girls Seminary in Umuahia, Abia State, and her tertiary institutions included the University of Calabar in Cross River, the University of Imo in Imo State, Harvard X London, Christian Leaders Institute USA, Oracle Institute Redwood Shores in California, and others.
In 2018, she initiated the “Happy Women Rural Initiative,” a socio-economic trending organisation and a niche for women to explore.
She was born in the early 80s and developed a passion for humanity in her early years in secondary school, always volunteering at orphanages to help bathe and feed children.
Ugonna was three times former beauty queen during her university days. At some point, she felt compelled to establish a one-of-a-kind charitable organisation, Challenged Children Charity Foundation (3CF), in 2003, through which she has empowered over 30,000 orphans and vulnerable children with women through scholarship programs, healthcare services, concerts, and feeding programs.
Ugo is also the founder of Excellent Youth Forum Grade 1 for a credible candidate, initiated in 2011 into political mobilisation. This is in addition to her being the founder of the Career Women in Politics organisation, which aims to train more women to enter politics.
She is now rooted in marriage and relationship counseling, mentoring of young people.
Ugo is the Lead Pastor of God’s Prophetic Centre and Women’s Prayer Squad, both of which are online ministries. She is also the founder of the Career Building Co-operative Society.
Ugo is a woman who believes in impact and legacy. She has won many credible awards in her field of endeavor. She has so many other children and adults under her care. She is a warm, loving mother to all.
She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and the International Federation of Female Lawyers.
Ugo is a multi-talented woman who believes that life is in phases and each phase comes with its goals and aspirations. Her great impacts and philanthropic gestures will always speak for her.
